- Religious Wars - Pat Robertson once said that the US should launch a preemptive nuclear strike against North Korea to prevent a “religious war”. He suggested that the US should "take out their nuclear capability" and "to make sure they can't fight back."
- Hurricane Katrina - In 2005, Robertson attributed Hurricane Katrina to God’s wrath for the US allowing abortion and same-sex marriage. He said, “God is angry that we’re not doing what we’re supposed to be doing.”
- Earthquakes - During the 2010 Haiti earthquake, Robertson blamed the disaster on a “pact with the devil” that was made by the Haitians in the 18th century. He claimed that the pact was made in order to gain independence from France.
- Feminism - In 1992, Robertson said that feminism was a “socialist, anti-family, political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism and become lesbians.”
- Islam - In 2006, Robertson said that “Islam is not a religion of peace” and that “radical Islamists” were “trying to conquer the world”. He also said that Muslims were “savage” and “barbaric”.
- Haiti - In 2010, Robertson said that the Haitian people had been cursed by God because they had made a “pact with the devil”. He said that the country had been “cursed by one thing after another” and that it was “time to break the curse.”
